Our magazine empowers young athletes and peers to share their perspectives on sports, mental health, and literacy. Our goal is to amplify youth voices, provide positive role models, and connect readers with resources for growth both on and off the field.

    With articles covering everything from sports insights to mental wellness tips, we’re committed to inspiring young athletes, highlighting diverse perspectives, and supporting each other’s journeys.

    Eligibility: Writers must be in Middle School, High School, or College within the state of Texas.

    Below are the criteria for article submissions:

    • Word Limit: Articles should be 500-750 words to keep them focused and engaging.
    • Multiple Submissions: Writers may submit more than one article at a time.
    • File Format: Only PDF documents will be accepted.
    • Original Work: Writers must hold all rights to their work upon submission and publication.
    • Editing Rights: Youth Texas Teams Magazine reserves the right to edit articles for clarity, grammar, and formatting.
    • Submission Email: All submissions should be sent to writers@youthtexasteams.com.
    • Response Time: Writers will receive a response within two weeks regarding whether their article will be published in an upcoming issue.
    • Respect for Diversity: Submissions should be inclusive, representing and respecting all backgrounds, genders, and abilities.
    • Professional Tone: Writers should aim for an inspiring and positive tone that resonates with young athletes.
    • Honesty and Accuracy: Writers are encouraged to fact-check any stats, quotes, or sources included in their article
